Melech Prayer Tower is a divine vision rooted in heart of Prophet Thomas Cherian (Samachan); known around the world as the “Faithful Prophet of God”. He was born on May 7, 1960, at Adoor Ezhamkulam Peniel House. After completing his education, he was set aside by the Lord in 1984 for full-time evangelistic work. During the period up to 1994, he served various churches in different parts of Kerala. On May 18, 1992, he married Honey Benjamin, daughter of Late.P M Benjamin and Leelamma Benjamin. God has granted them two children, Paul and Joel. Eldest son Paul Samachan is married to Sarah Koshy, D/o Rev. Jacob Koshy, New Life, Avadi ,Chennai.Youngest Son Joel is married to Dr. Sandra Sebastian.  They as a family continue to do the Lord's work in different parts of the world. Pastor Samachan came to Punalur in 1994 on a divine mission, and the Lord enabled him to establish many churches across Kerala.
